Alaska Botanical Gardens
The Alaska Botanical Garden consists of about 110 acres of "boreal forest", with approximately 11 acres of cultivated gardens and interconnecting nature trails. The garden's land consists mainly of spruce and birch forest, of which only about 10% is developed. Wildlife (moose and sometimes bears) are frequently seen within the garden itself.
